Camillas swingset is done, she really likes it! It took around 14 hours to put together! The kids especially like the 2 person swing because its easy to make it go fast and high!

I can't wait

for Fall!! I really can't complain too much because this summer really has been pretty mild? Global warming what? By mild I mean, we've barely been over 100. Mostly have been in the 90s and even a lot of nights we have opened the windows!! But, i'm so looking forward to being cold, not having a $200 electric bill, wearing sweaters and long sleeves, cooking soup and among many other things the pretty leaves. How can anyone not like Fall? Prettiest time of the year if you ask me.
I have another fertility doctor appointment today. I haven't weighed myself for a few weeks but at last count I had lost 6lbs. (UPDATE: I weighed myself today and have lost 15 pounds!! Couldn't believe it!) Hopefully I have lost more in the last 3 weeks or so. I have been going to the gym 5 days a week most weeks. I work with a trainer for 3 days and just do cardio the other 2 days. I don't really mind going, some days are a lot harder than others. I know that I have lost some inches and the I am just more toned which is nice. If only the scale would show more, but hopefully the Dr. can see that I have been losing some.
The puppy is doing ok, she is still biting Camilla a lot. But now she's really good at biting her and running away before Cam or I can grab her. I really try and stay on her, so hopefully she will grow out of that fast. She is a lot of fun to have around and really great for Camilla. Even though she bites her they are still best friends. She's also really good at waking up Camilla when she doesn't want to get up! Just put puppy on the bed and Camilla wakes up in a good mood! YAY!
I have been really thankful lately for my marriage and while it is far from perfect it is pretty darn good. I never realized how much Ian is like my Dad, never saw that until recently. Like my Dad, he's kinda quiet and doesn't say things unless he really means it. He doesn't gossip, doesn't get angry about things unless it is something major, he's willing to work no matter what the work may be. Ian works at least 10 hours a day 5-7 days a week, but he is still in a good mood when he gets home. Making it really hard for me to be grumpy if I've had a rough day with Camilla!! But anyway, the more I hear about or see other peoples marriages, it makes me look at mine and be thankful. What do you love most about your husband?

Swing set

Ians Mom and us have been wanting to get Camilla swing set, so we ordered one online. I was reading the comments people left about it and they all said once we got it put up it was great BUT.... It took like 12 hours or more to put together! Yikes, oh well its worth it. Ian and his Dad spent probably 7-8 hours on Sunday and its maybe half way done. It came in 2 boxes and I think one box was just pieces of wood!

This was all the hardware, screws, bolts etc.

They got it put together enough for her to swing on which she is really happy about! Except now all day I hear, Mommy come push me! :)
Since Ian doesn't usually get home till dark, I'm not sure when it will get finished. But for now, she seems happy with her swings! I have a picture of it, but google is not letting me post it right now.

Acceptance

I have enjoyed this little poem that was on a bookmark I have.

My thought lately is that instead of daily worldly worries getting me down, that instead they would make me be more anxious for Gods work and peace in me. By accepting his will in me there will be peace and I CAN rejoice.

oh my now what?

So Ian and his friend both who have been around pit bulls a lot in their life both have said that they def see pit bull in the puppy. I guess I should say its the chance you get when you adopt from the pound with unknown parents. But pit bull? I pretty much hate pit bulls, I don't believe what people try and say oh they are nice. Well no they are not. So we have been having major problems with her biting, she starts biting Camilla and she can't even get away from the puppy. And if you lay on the ground, she will try and bite you,even go right for your face. Ian says I don't know about lab puppies but pit puppies would go right for your face too. I know she's too young to really be trying to hurt us, I'm sure she's just playing. But she is not getting this biting thing figured out, and its kinda to the point where Camilla doesn't even want to be with her because all she does is bite. So now what? I have 2 weeks to take her back and get my money back. I don't know. I guess I should've just paid the money and got a dog that we knew what the parents were.
Today has been one of those days where I feel like I could just run away and hide. Hum did I say that out loud? Too much to do and not enough time or energy. Between my new medicine and my crazy child I have no energy. Plus my hormones, well we won't even go into that. I'm pretty much a hormonal stressed out mess. Yay.

Puppy!

Guess if I'm not going to be having a baby anytime soon I can settle for 2nd best! A puppy! :) She is a lab mix named Bella. She has been a lot of fun except for cleaning up her messes! But Camilla is having a lot of fun with her, she especially likes to try and boss her around which is fun to watch since the puppy completely ignores her! Humm sounds familiar!


Lila and Bella. Lila broke her poor little leg and will have to be in a cast for 3 weeks. Poor baby...

Owie

Camilla stepped in some ashes at my inlaws, they were 2 days old but still hot with red hot coals in it. She stepped in the ashes and they went down in her little crocks and got stuck in her shoes. So she got burned pretty bad, hopefully there is no scars or problems.


So, word of advice make sure your ashes are cool and don't poor them where people walk. Duh.
