Fishing

So we recently have been doing quite a bit of fishing, and I really like it! Its pretty exciting when you get a bite! Especially because we found a spot where you will always catch a fish, they aren't huge fish but its still fun. So yesterday we went and I out fished my husband! HA! He only caught one little one, and i caught 4-5! So he was a little bitter! He told me I wasn't allowed on his boat anymore! =) So I had to take pics of me and my fish!

Sweet is the Rest.......

Well its hard to believe that Christina is really gone. We had her funeral, and now all thats left is memories. Her funeral was joy and sorrow interwoven. How thankful we are for the Love of God and his son. That we can know blessing in all experiences, good or bad. The look on Kerrys face as she was being buried was the saddest face I've ever seen. Now he has to start over, and how hard will that be? She was the love of his life, and now she's gone. I can not imagine. Anyway today I am just thankful for the love and comfort that we know in Gods way.

My cousin Evan got married last weekend to Katlyn Stewart. She is great, and fits right into our family. Camilla was their flower girl. She actually did really well, and just rode in the wagon down the aisle!! I didn't get too good of pics, but hopefully the photographer did!!

A sad day

Christina Leen (I hope I'm spelling it right) passed away this morning after a LONG battle with cancer. She is younger than me, and her husband is only my age. Poor families. It seems like so many people that I know die from cancer these days. This has been long coming but I can't believe that she is actually gone.

Ponytail!

Camillas hair is getting so long! I can put it in a ponytail if she'll let me. Then I have to distract her so she forgets about it or else she'll pull it out! Its So cute! Her hair is tons of different lengths so its hard to get it smooth or looking half way decent! =)

I really like where I live

We live in a beautiful recreation area, with 2 big lakes within 20 minutes and lots of little ones with a hour or two. There's lots of mountains, creeks, waterfalls, campgrounds and hiking to do. Plus in the winter there is snow! So if you like to do outdoor activities this is where you should move! =) Anyway since Ian doesn't have a job...... AAAHH I hate writing that, but anyway since he doesn't we have lots of spare time on our hands. So we have been going to the lake, going camping, going to National parks that are also close to here! Camilla loves it since she loves to be outside and get dirty! Anyway here's some recent pics of our outdoor activities!
This is at Whiskeytown Lake, part of the mountains around it were burned last month during one of our many fires.

This was camping on the Trinity River, although I barely took any pictures.

Camilla loves to play in dirt! I was probably that way when I was her age, still am a little!
Today has been a fun day of the runs for her. So as always the runs=diaper rash. So its been a day of changing poopies and her screaming in pain.=( I don't know why she has the runs hopefully it quits soon. Have a great day!
