Another Christmas goes by......

We had Christmas at my parents house in Weaverville. My sister Kara was there, and my brother Landry and his wife Cara and baby Lila!! Also Cara's sister Kayla was there with us. We had a great time playing games and talking and laughing and of course eating!! Christmas morning we slept in and woke up around 9. Dad of course was already out finding something to do. He's not one to sit around!! Then we opened our presents!! Camilla did help open presents a little bit, but mostly she just wanted to play with the wrapping paper and of course eat it!! She got some toys and clothes from Grandma and Grandpa and some clothes from Auntie Kara!! It was a special Christmas for Ian and I!! We can't believe that we have a precious baby girl, and to share Christmas with her was awesome!!

So I can't figure out how to write in between the pics. So the first is Mom with her 2 grand babies! Then its Ian with his redneck stocking! I forgot to bring his stocking so we found Landrys old one and put tape on it with his name! HAHA and then theres Camilla opening a present!!!!!

This was my most favorite little present....

Shopping shopping shopping

So I used to love shopping. Today I shopped for like 6 hours... Oh my word.... I was so tired by the time it was over. But I did finish my Christmas shopping! YAY!!!! I love Christmas, I love to buy presents for people! When we get older Christmas may not be as exciting. But it is cool cause we get things that we actually do need and maybe can't afford to buy or just havn't bought it yet. When we were kids it was like oh toys or clothes that we don't need. But now its like ohh a new skillet with a lid, or new skirts cause I only have like 3 in my closet!! I can't wait till Camilla can understand Christmas and opening presents! I tried to get her to open a present from my mother in law on Monday. So she would just tear off a little piece and then eat it. And then she didn't want to tear anymore pieces off! =-) Apparently EVERYTHING tastes good to a 10 month old! Anyway HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO EVERYONE!! I'm hoping for some snow up at my parents house!! I'm dreaming of a white christmas.............

Getting older each day!

OK SO ANNOYING. I just wrote this big long post and it wouldn't work and then I lost it. So basically what I was saying is that Camilla is getting bigger and experiences SO many new things. And it is so fun! I do kinda miss the newborn days, OK well I miss being able to hold her for longer than 5 min without my back breaking. But do I miss waking up every 2 hours to be a milk machine? Nope sorry I don't! But she is CRAWLING like crazy! A few days ago in a matter of minutes she managed to destroy 2 magazines, almost destroy a book, pull herself up on my coffee table and start to grab some glass candle holders. So then I pulled her away to a new spot and she crawled into my pantry and started grabbing things in there! And the whole time just looking SO proud of herself!! Time to start a little child proofing!! So its work, but its so fun cause she is interacting So much with us and its amazing. We went to the Dr. today and she weighs 19 pounds 12 ounces and it 25 inches tall! Wow already 2 feet tall!! What a big girl!! Have a great day!

Well I thought I would try to start a blog! Not that we have a whole lot going on up here in the sticks! But at least I could post lots of pictures and probably have some random ramblings to sometimes!! =) Here are some pics of us. I can't figure out why our wedding pictures won't come up.
